So this month my team and I are ministering in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Here were are teaching English classes, worshiping during church services, playing soccer, helping with “English night”-youth group, and so much more.

So for the UNEXPECTED…. ME A TEACHER and SOCCER PLAYER.

When coming on the World Race I knew that I would be teaching English at some point. I just had not brought myself to start preparing for that experience. So the first night I taught along with my partner Mark, I kept this bible verse in my head the whole night:

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

It went great… My southern accent did not stop me….

We are teaching English at night during the week and then on the weekends we play soccer with the kids…

The first thought that came to mind was I have never played soccer, but I knew that to grow with the kids I had to play whether knowing how to or not. It was so much fun…..

The stretch of faith continues to grow as I keep facing those fears and pushing forward with wonderful memories with God and his Kingdom…

Until take time….Take Care.
