Well I am writing this while in flight to Los Angeles, CA with one my teammates (Alicia) to meet the rest of my squad… It is hard to believe that the time has come for this journey to start. I know that God is got so much in store for me this next 11 months that is going to break my heart and see a new light on life… I am excited and nervous about the next 11 months, but I know that it will be a great adventure in growing my faith in God and being able to share the gospel to so many people. I have so many emotions going on in my head right now, that it is a little overwhelming…I feel that I just need to be pinched.
I was very amazed to be doing so feel with saying Goodbye to everybody and not even crying. That wasn’t the case today when saying goodbye to the two people who inspire me to strive high in life and has thought me so much in life. I know God is by my side and will help me get through anything HE put in front of me…
On the other note, packing for these 11 months has thought me that you can live without so much, we are very spoiled. I think I had to pack about 9 times and had 1 meltdown about having to leave some stuff behind. You probably can guess I finally got packed, I still feel that I packed way too much… I checking in at the airport today with an Internal Frame backpack weighing 45.5 lbs, a daypack which weighs heavy itself, and personal bag. I have not figured out how I am going to carry on this at one time… It should be interesting.
I sitting listening to my iPod, and the song I Have Decided came on. How appropriate is that? The lyric goes like this, “I have decided to follow Jesus, No turning back…” I feel that following Him is going be the most rewarding adventure and definitely no turning back for me…
Thank you so much for all the support, messages, love, and so much more… Look forward to sharing these next 11 months with you… Now it time for me to GO ROCK THIS WORLD WITH GODS LOVE!!!!
Please pray for my squad (U squad) and for my team for the safety in traveling to Thailand, for the ministry that we will be doing there. May God’s Love Shine…
