God’s Plan

Wow… it has almost been a year of being home from a journey that started my passion for missions. Through out this journey, God changed not only my heart but the heart of those who I have ministered too. This past year being home has been a year of prayer, trials and adventure in itself.

 

After much prayer and teachings, God has called me to a higher standing. I learned on the race so much about being Obedient to Him and His will for me. Since being home I have been living in fear, praying for my next season, but not listening to what God had for me. It is now time for me to take that journey He has prepared for me.

 

I recently was speaking at a church about my journey on the World Race and my upcoming journey with God. At the end of the service they gave me a card that said,

 

“I don’t have to figure out why or how or when. God has a plan, and I committed to it. That commitment frees me from having to worry about the details.� — Barbara Johnson-

 

God has given me an amazing opportunity that will stretch me as an individual through the people I minister to. I will me leaving in January and serving in Costa Rica with an organization called the Brittney Strom Foundation. I will be leading teams to Atenas, Costa Rica to the camp called Camp Brittney.

I had a vision on the race that God was calling me to lead teams to countries and to share my creative talents with the natives by teaching trade crafts to them so they can support their own ministries. This opportunity in Costa Rica is putting that vision into reality for me.

 

I am thankful to God for this opportunity that is before me and trust He will meet my needs. To start this journey with God in being a full time missionary with The Brittney Strom Foundation, I must raise $15,000 a year which goes directly to the BRITTNEY STROM FOUNDATION.
