Hey Ya’ll!

My name is Lauren Grace Black, I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in South Carolina.

Most Important Part of who I am — My Family:

I grew up with two loving Christian parents who have been married for thirty years. I am from a very close knit family; not sure what I would do without them. I have one older brother Josh and a sister-n-law Shannon. Josh is a high school teacher and coach’s football and baseball. I am very close to my brother.

College and my career:

I am a very creative person and I love art. I graduated from Winthrop University with a major in Interior Design. Definitely a major that allowed me to express my creativity. While in college I worked for a florist part-time and grew a love for arranging and designing flower arrangements. After college, I worked as an Interior Designer at a Architect firm who concentrated on Commercial Design. I loved every minute of my job, but due to the economy I was laid off in February 2009. Once that happened I started to pursue doing wedding and event flowers on my own. I love being able to make someone’s special day everything they dreamed of.
