What a month of Growth, Love, Sharing, Relying and Busyness. I am going to start this month’s recap a little different. I just wrote words that stand out to me about this month.
Growth- This month has been set by growth. We started the month as a new team, which we had to experience growth in each other. I personally grew this month when speaking on Easter Sunday, I only wrote a few notes down in case I lost my train of thought. I mostly relied on God and the Holy Spirit guidance to give me the words to say.
Love- We have been able to learn how to love each other more and also how to love others and share so much love here in Malaysia. We have been to three different areas: Kajang, Pengkalan Hulu, and Kulua Lumpur. We have loved on children, adults, aboriginals, the sick, and many others.
Sharing- We shared God’s love in different ways this month. Hugging-the children at the orphanages, Burmese schools, and other events. Taking Food- to the Oresey’s in the jungle that had very little food for weeks. Performing skits- at youth groups, schools, church services, and village visits. Singing- at the places we minister. Preaching messages — at cell groups, villages, church services, school, and bible studies. Prayer walking- at universities and through the city.
Relying- We relied on God’s love and strength to get us through this month. It has been busy, a lot of travel, tiring times, full of growth, and so much more. We had to rely on God to help us eat all the food that the natives prepared for us as a blessing. We relied on Him for our safety while heading to the village in the jungle.
Busy- I am going to leave this for the actual Recap blog to come later on in the week. You will see all the different ways we were busy in showing God’s Love this month.
