I’m so excited to announce that I am over halfway funded!!!
Wow. I am so incredibly thankful for all of you who have supported me throughout this process, through prayer or financially! My heart is so full and I can’t explain how much everyone’s support means to me!
Just to update y’all, I have about 3 weeks until I go to training camp (July 25-August 4). Technically, today is my financial deadline of $9,000 but I have spoken to my squad leader and I absolutely HAVE to have that money before training camp.
I currently have about $7,000. So that means that I need $2,000 more in the next 3 weeks. That sounds crazy, but all of you have been SO awesome and supportive and I truly have faith in the Lord that He will provide.
I launch on either September 5th or 6th from Atlanta depending on what my role will be which I will learn more about at training camp!
I will need to be fully funded with $12,491 by August 21st.
Since I’ll be away at camp for 10 days, I will try to have some fundraising events before and after camp, so stay tuned on my Facebook page!!
Random update: I have almost all of my gear to leave, although I’m still not sure how I’m going to pack all of it into a 65 liter backpack… I tend to overpack already so wish me luck.. I’ve also received all of my shots that are required!…typhoid hurts.
This entire process has pushed me to jump out of my comfort zone and I am so thankful for that. I apologize to those of whom it has taken a while for me to contact.. This is all SO new to me and I couldn’t be more appreciative of your patience and understanding.

PLEASE continue to pray for me and my awesome squad mates as we prepare for training camp/launch and reaching our deadlines! I can already see how mind-blowingly wonderful these people are even from our group message and I have the privilege of having them as my family for 9 months!!!
