As I sit in the Atlanta International Airport waiting to board my plane to El Salvador, I’m trying to articulate words to describe my time in between training camp and launch.
To put it simply, the enemy tried (in an abundance of ways) to make me doubt myself and make me believe that I am not capable of doing this thing. The thoughts that were in my mind during this time were NOT of the Lord. All in all, I have learned from my time at home to trust in the Lord’s plan and timing. I cannot even begin to think that I could understand Him at ALL. I cannot get frustrated with His reasoning.
My time at home has taught me a lot about trust and patience. And although I already considered myself a patient person, the Lord continues to show me just how much I can grow in Him.
After going through a few days of more training at Atlanta at launch, I feel fully prepared to GO and do this thing.
I want to thank all of you who have supported me in any way throughout this pre-race journey! I wouldn’t be sitting in this airport without y’all.
I still have about $1,771 to raise before October 31st! If you’d like to donate, I want to encourage you to do so as soon as possible so I can be fully funded and focus on work out on the field!
Subscribe to my blog for updates to keep up with me from the field!
