NIGHT MINISTRY!
I have absolutely fallen in love with India. The amount of strength, trust, and belief in the power of the Heavenly Father here is unbeilable. Shortly after arriving I was sitting down with my amazing host for the month and sat and listened to him talk about what his faith life looks like and what it looks like to be a Christian in India.
In the states my faith and my relationship is free, it’s open for everyone to see and know. My faith, love, and identity in the Lord does not have to be hidden.
Here in India, Christians face the risk of a lot of danger. They fight for their identity in the Lord, for their faith, for their center of love everyday. It is one thing to have a strong relationship with the Lord and share the joy and light that comes from that relationship. The real example and what I read on the Bible of truly showing the Lord how much love and trust you have in Him is when you risk your life, your safety, your comforts in life to live out your love, your faith, and trust in the Heavenly Father.
This month we are holding church services at night, holding out on preaching until it is completely dark outside. My faith in the Lord is not growing just because I am trusting in Him to work through me when I get up and preach or tell a testimony of His good works. My faith is not just growing in praying for healings and deliverances. My faith is not just growing when I walk in the gift of tongues.
My faith is truly growing because I am living out having unlimited amount of trust, love, and belief in His awesome power. I am living out and being challenged on the Lord being my strength. I am living out and being challenged the Lord being my refuge. I am living out and being challenged the Lord being my complete fortress and trust. The Lord is my Almighty Father and my identity and trust is in Him completely.
Psalms 91:15-16
“He will call upon me and I will answer, I will be with him in distress; I will deliver him and give him honor. With length of days I will satisfy him, and fill him with my saving power.”
My relationship with the Lord this month has gone from growth in Love to growth in trust and protection.
The Lord has loved in unbelievable ways. The Lord has protected in unbelievable ways. The Lord has been Almighty and powerful. In this I am so thankful, but I am thankful I got to meet my brothers and sisters of Christ here in India who have truly allowed my relationship with the Lord to grow and be challenged.
