Home

These days home looks like a lot of different places. The one thing these days is the meaning and the vision that comes to mind of a home is very different than what it looked like seven months ago.

Home is where I’m surrounded by people who support me, love me well, and people who allow my relationship with the Lord to grow.

Home is where I am surrounded by the peace of the Lord. It is where I am embraced by comfort. It is where I can hear the Lord say I am exactly where He wants me.

Home is no longer a place, it is no longer a picture perfect idea.

Home is where my heart finds rest with the Lord. Home is everywhere and anywhere the Lord has called me to.

So with all that

Wherever you call me Lord I will go, wherever you have Home for me I will call Home. Wherever you have peace and comfort for me I will allow you guide me to.

Home has been a lot of different places for the past seven months and it will continue to look different for the next four months. My journey of finding home is not over, because it will be different as new seasons of my life come.

As I move forward in my homeward journey, I will never forget the days I lived in Haiti, the days I lived in Dominican Republic, the days I lived in Jamaica, the days I called India home, the days I lived in Nepal, and the moments Malaysia became a home and felt like a home I could continuously live in, and finally Thailand.

Thank you Jesus for always allowing me to be home with you everywhere I have gone and everywhere I will go.
