First off, I am really weird and I love getting people to smile and laugh. That is one of my many passions. I am just going to say that I am not very good with words so I’m going to try to make this make as much sense as possible. Well I am 18 years old and a senior in high school. I love art and pottery and painting and just anything to do with art. Lots of people assume I’m blowing off my senior year because its all art classes but it’s just what I love to do. Me joining the World Race was completely random. Most things I do though, are completely random. I’ve never been drawn to college or a life of routine right after high school. I love the idea of getting out of your comfort zone to see what God is going to do in your heart. I heard about the World Race from my dad who heard about it from a family friend. One day he was just like, “What about the World Race?” At first I was like ehhh that’s kind of crazy, but then I thought, why not? So the more I started researching and reading into the World Race, the more I knew that God was pointing me to it. I have no experience with missionary work but I know God uses average people (like myself) to do some crazy things for His kingdom. Sometimes I get scared thinking about how insane this is, but then I think that’s exactly where God wants me. He wants to rip me from my everyday routine and boring life and throw me into something completely different so I can see His love in a whole new way. All I can say is I am PUMPED for the World Race and feel pretty cool calling myself a future world racer.
