Hello everybody!! So I’ve officially been on the World Race for about 15 days, starting from launch! Other than a couple days of throwing up at launch, it was an overall bittersweet experience. In order to get to Battambang, Cambodia we had a short 5 days of travel ๐Ÿ˜‰ we flew from Atlanta, to California, to China and then finally to Cambodia! Then we had an 8 hour bus ride from the airport to our host home. So far, since we have been settling in, the race has been pretty chill. We have done about 3 days of ministry which was painting a room inside of a Buddhist school. I was super happy and excited for this because I love painting, so it was cool to see God use something I love for His kingdom ๐Ÿ™‚ There were 3 big walls they wanted us to paint so my team took over the wall that surrounds indoor pool. We decided to do an underwater themed mural and make it super colorful to brighten up the room! This week was also a holiday called Pchum Ben so the children were away while we painted, this gave us the opportunity to pray over the school and the children that would return to the school the next week.
