Lo is one of the biggest blessings from my world race.
She is wise and gracious. Goofy and strong. Encouraging and creative.
Whenever she came to visit my team, her presence and personality was an added bonus. The way she leads her life and seeks after the Lord is admirable and inspiring. The time we made homemade crepes or taught kids the dab or just chatted were some of my favorite moments. Lo’s vulnerability, prayerful spirit, and zest for life makes her the kind of friend you want to be around and ‘I just can’t wait to be friends in real life.’

Lo is an amazing leader, walking in wisdom and such humble, tangible love for people! The way she is intentional to see where we are with the Lord and challenge us to deeper things is amazing. I have been inspired by her passion for the Lord and for prayer and the way she invites others into what she is walking through. Lo is transparent and honest. She is down-to-earth and is SO much fun! She truly has been such a gift to our squad, and she has impacted my own life immensely, as she is a strong, rooted, devoted woman of God and follower of Jesus ready to champion us on in our own journeys with Him! She has been a wonderful leader, but I am most thankful for the ways she has become a sweet friend, one to feel safe with and have a blast with at the same time!

Lo is an amazing leader. She really knows how to listen to people and relate to them on their level. She gives good insight to things that others are walking through. She knows when to be serious and when to be playful. She has a servants heart and is willing to go the extra mile just to make someone smile. She is a true prayer warrior. She is one of those people that if you asked her to pray, and there is no doubt that she is pouring her heart out to God for you. Lo has been such a rock for me the past 5 months because of her wisdom. She has a deep relationship with God and it shows in how she interacts with others.- Rachel
Lo was the reason I made it through my first month on the Race. She came alongside me and encouraged me to step out in boldness. She made sure we adjusted to life on the field and she helped us understand the local culture better. What makes her such an incredible squad leader is she continued to follow up with me even after she left my team. At the end of each month she would reach out to me and see how I was doing. My growth on the race wouldn’t be the same without Lo! Plus she brings so much joy into every situation. Gap year is lucky to have her! -Lindsey

Determined. Disciplined. Teachable. Dedicated. Truth teller. That’s what Lo is to me. She has challenged our squad each month to pursue spiritual discipline more & more. She doesnt just ask us to do it but she herself walks in them as well. She came along side me & walked with me through starting to pray on a daily basis. She didnt just tell me how & then tell me good luck but she was willing to actually do it with me. I love the way that Lo is a go getter. In Vietnam she knew that she wanted to make crepes one day so she went out & went to the effort to go to 4 different stores, cause that our it is in Asia, to get the ingredients that she needed. She has ideas & she goes through with them. She set a goal of running & she has stuck to that goal. She is a running machine!! I love the way that Lo asks the hard questions & challenges people to do the hard things. Her love for Jesus & fun are contagious! 🙂 I cant wait to see how FANTASTIC a Gap Year Squad leader she is gonna be!!!!- Anna Beth
Lo is a friend, leader, prayer warrior and truth speaker. Over the past five months I have been able to spend lots of time with Lo and this journey of mine would not be the same without her. My first encounter with Lo was back at training camp before I ever knew who she was and she said a little prayer for me. I was struggling with my decision to go on this trip and believing lies, but she came over and prayed over everything that was going on in my mind. She hears from the Lord easily and she is a dedicated prayer warrior. If you need any type of prayer she is the one you can go to.
