Laura's Support Update

The time has come for a new chapter of my life to begin, as last Tuesday was my last day of work at CHOC Children’s. It’s official in 6 days I head to Washington D.C. in preparation of Launching with my Y Squad Fam. I cannot believe that the time has arrived and that we will be off to Nairobi with my squad and then a “quote on quote” 5.5 hour (meaning approximately 8-10) bus ride to Kakamega, Kenya with my LinC 10:10 family, where we will be with Brother Charles and his team at Logos Celebration Ministries.
I am so amazingly blessed to report that I currently have around $10,900 in my World Race account! With monthly pledges included around $12,000!! Which means only about $2,800more to raise or approximately 55 people making a one time $50 donation or two $25 donations or 25 people donating $10/month for the next 11 months! Even spare change can add up quickly and go a long way. A garage sale I was able to put on only with some of my amazing church and work family either by coming out and volunteering their time or donating items to sell, brought in $420. My recycle fundraising has brought in a $100 and I’m still collecting. God continues to amaze me every step of the way across these last 7 months with the doors and opportunities He has provided, even some overtime at work to make some extra money and spend some more time with my lil’ loves.
I am overwhelmed by the generosity God has laid on people's hearts, not only of their money, but also of their time and prayers. Truly, words cannot express how grateful I am to each one of you. You are all a constant reminder of how amazing God is and how there is no possible way I could do this without Him or you. God has given me friends & family who are willing and excited to help me in this process. I so appreciate your prayers, love, words of encouragement, and financial support as I embark on this journey that God has called me as a handmaiden in His Kingdom.
