This is something that everyone should take the time to think about.
WHY? WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?
There's a reason for it, yes? A reason behind what you do for "normal" daily life?
I KNOW the WHY within me of what I feel God is calling me to do with my life. I'm taking ACTION within that reason.
Knowing the WHY gives us that focus, direction, life-changing, and goal in mind. Maybe, more motivation than a "new year's resolution" possibly?
If someone doesn't really know what to do with their life, this could be a very difficult question to ask themselves. But maybe it's time to change that and do something with your life to glorify God in whatever God brings into your life.
In whatever you are doing are YOU doing it for Christ and glorifying Him in everything?

In preparation for World race and fundraising. I have been thinking alot about what if I didn't fundraise and just took a leap of faith to see how God provides with just telling people about what I will be doing and spill my heart to the excitement I have for this trip. Maybe if God puts it on their heart for an amount to donate that they will take it into action. It's going to be exciting to see what God does through it but it's going to be difficult at times as well.
It's not a vacation, and because of that the enemy will try to destroy anything that God will work in our lives and the lives we come in contact with. I'm not going so I can go to 11 months but to do ministry in 11 months.
I believe for a missionary it is not bad to fundraise beforehand and see how God works and puts something on people's heart, whether it's an amount of money or a word of encouragement, or a prayer. But the thing is asking God for specific fundraisers and people to invite that God has put on my heart. Fundraising and asking for money is like one of the things I don't like to do. But God has continued to show me that he has this trip in the palm of His hands and he can do anything. And that he has put people in my life for reason to help me through this time. He has put complete strangers to give money outreageous amounts. It's incredible to see God work in people's lives to give to this trip. God can do crazy things without me doing fundraisers. But is that really what God wants me to do? I'm going to pray about each and every fundraiser in the coming months.
In constant prayer about this. God will guide me in whatever I need to do in preparation
