MONTH 2 is here already?!?!

We have left our ministry site and traveling to our next destination.
As a squad we are in a 57 passenger bus and ready to take on a so called 13 hour bus ride to Bulgaria. But who knows what that means? That could turn into a 24 hour bus ride? I shall see.  As I'm having flashbacks on this month I remember the glorious times and the not so glorious times. I didn't feel like this was a stretching months of the world race.  I look back on this past month and I could have worked harder on some things. this month whether it meant hanging out with children, helping the cooks cook food, investing in my squad and the staff of the program we worked with.  As I'm sitting on the bus surrounded by so many incredible people and attempted to fall asleep but that is hard to do because I am reminded that every 40 minutes it seems like we have to get off the bus at the border(that is the experience I had on our first 28 hour bus ride).
I have been in Bulgaria waiting until we get the go ahead to go to Serbia. These past few days have been awesome!  Exploring towns, hanging out with some teams, eating delicious food, resting and just enjoying life.  My team is going to Serbia doing Unsung heroes which means we are dropped off in Serbia with no lodging plans, no food, no limits, no structure, just our team budget. But in this month we are responsible to find ministries, local churches, pastors for future racers to partner with.
I am incredibly excited for this coming month. It is going to be a challenging month for our team but yet it'll be SO good because God is almighty and he walks with us wherever we go. It's a huge stretch for our team from this past month that we spent in  albania. Albania i believed helped us and eased our way into ministry and just workd race in general. Whether we have to stay in hostels, find a place to pitch our tents on the side of the road or in a giant field.  I'm all down for the roughing it for the missionary life. This month we like to call it (ATL which means "ask The Lord") we will be taking this month asking The Lord for direction and open doors for contacts to come flowing in for future racers. But until I actually experience "unsung heroes" I really have no idea what to expect. We could stay in one place the entire month or several daily to different places. It really just all depends on where The Lord is leading.

Continue to pray for our team this month. Pray for wisdom, discernment, strength, a listening ear, willing hearts to do or go wherever.
