Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well! Most of you know that God called me to Germany to attend a Marriage of the Arts Discipleship Training School in August of 2011, within those 7 months I was surrounded by so many talented artists who just had a passion to fight against injustice and glorify God in art. I saw God provide in crazy ways while I was overseas. It was an incredible season in my life growing closer to God through all the experiences on a day to day basis, ministry opportunities, admiring God's creation in beautiful Germany and Kenya, Africa. Living in Germany for 4 and a half months was absolutely incredible. Doing local outreaches in Germany, going on tour to share our experiences on outreach, creating a magazine at the end of DTS. And many more amazing experiences that I don't have room to mention. Being in Africa for 2 and a half months opened my eyes to poverty and what people go through every single day. On a daily basis it broke my heart to see so many beautiful children suffering from not eating, abandoned, beaten, not getting decent education at their school. But through all that you can still see overwhelming joy in these people's lives. One of my favorite parts on outreach was when we traveling to Kakuma to do ministry in a refugee camp, it was heart wrenching to hear all the different tragic stories that happened to each and every family that we got to meet and thousands of other families that we didn't even meet. I consider Africa my second home. I am so amazed by everyone I met in Africa even though they don't have anything they are still the most joyful people I have ever met. Through this school I know more about human-trafficking and I know I need to do everything I can do to fight against it. It breaks my hearts knowing that this is going on in the entire world to children as young as 4 years old. It's devastating!
I will be serving as a missionary through an organization called Adventures in Missions in the World Race program. The World Race is an 11 month mission trip traveling to 11 different countries. The July 2013 route that i'll be on. The locations are: Ireland, Romania, Ukraine, India, Nepal, Mozambique, Swaziland, South Africa, Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan. On the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result in human trafficking and bring hope to many nations and tribes.
I am so thankful that God is called me on this journey at this specific time for a purpose, and I have every confidence that God will provide everything that I need to go on the World Race. My prayer is that he will see you to help support because I can't do this on my own. I am writing to you to ask if you would consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me in this ministry. I must raise $15,500 in order to do the World Race. That covers all my expenses for the entire 11 months on the field. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or a monthly donation, if 50 people pledge $30[$1 a day] every month for 11 months. I would be fully funded for the entire year. I can't experience this incredible journey without your help whether it's through prayer, financially. I fully believe that God will provide everything down to the last cent.
