This year I’ve prayed blessings for new born babies and their futures that God has set before them.
This year I’ve named a newborn baby girl Rachel in India.
This year I’ve felt a baby move inside Vigis stomach. She was our host mom in India. I left India without meeting the precious Indian baby.
This year I’ve held babies, and I’ve prayed for sick babies.
I’ve seen what a blessing it is to a family to have a newborn baby in the household. I’ve held babies in my arms so right yet gently that I don’t want to let go
Baby Zane was born 6:39 pm on June 5
But today I was able to pray for my baby nephew, waiting anxiously to meet him and hold him in my arms
How amazing it is that God allowed me to be on this journey for a year and love on babies in each country and be able to see the blessings that children give for each family that I have met and have prayed for.
Just when I thought I would maybe have missed the birth was when The Lord was assuring me that he had this all in his plan and his timing is perfect.
Baby Zane waited for me to get to America after my long year overseas. When he gets older I’m so excited to tell him about this and how I’m sure I’m his favorite aunt because he waited for me.
I think it is such an amazing time to be gone for so long and be there for my sister and welcome this child into this world.
Such a sweet welcome home gift.
