Someday I will look back on this evening and smile, remembering it while I’m drinking ice water, watching a movie as the fire roars in the fireplace. But for now, I just shiver and wish my tv show would download on itunes faster so I can hide in my tent. There are 22+ mph winds continually threatening our tents and any minute now a huge rain storm will start and continue ALL night long. Welcome to Ireland! While I hate the weather we are getting, I do LOVE Ireland a lot! (The rain storm has started- it’s intense, did I mention we are in a field, next to the sea…) Our route changed and we’ve been in Ireland for this month instead of going to Turkey. I am SO blessed to be in this amazing country! Ireland is beautiful and we are located in Galway which has a lot of countryside and being next to the ocean is always one of my favorite things! We had a week in Dublin, Ireland in which God changed my life! He opened my eyes to a lot of past lies that the devil had been telling me and opened my heart to God’s truths. We were in Dublin with 200 other current world racers attending The Awakening, which is the World Race annual conference. Then we traveled a few hours to the other coast of Ireland, Galway. We are here working with Discovery Church. Our new friends, Jimmy, Pastor Paul, Sean, Ken and Pedrig are leading us in amazing ministry. We are doing, street evangelism, community projects, working at conferences, hosting concerts, handing out 10,000 worship cds all around the city, and MUCH more! I LOVE IT!!!!
