Live with INTENSION & DETERMINATION
I know you’re thinking, aren’t they the same thing? and roughly they are. Today God laid it upon my heart to “Live With Intension”. Honestly yesterday I could not have told you what that really meant. But that is what dictionaries and the Holy Spirit are for. Intension means determination, which means: “firmness of purpose, resoluteness.” (According to my computer’s dictionary) Resolve, single mindedness, willpower, strength of character, intentness, persistence, spunk, spirit, courage- the list goes on and on. I didn’t know the word determination could mean so much! It’s amazing now that I look at it! For years now I’ve wanted God to show me what it means to live everyday to the fullest. This must be what He means. It’s about staying focused on Him and those around me and learning all I can without getting lost in the suffle of life. To wake up with the dawn. Wake us up to every beautiful day & breath He gives us. To intensionally see the beauty in this world and to remember that He has everything under control even when all I see is chaos. To intensionally seek after Him even when we are too “busy” to pick up a Bible or journal. To try and hear His voice clearer every moment. All of this is such a hard lesson for me to understand and learn. I’m taking baby steps when I want to leap but I don’t want to miss a moment of His teaching because I know I will look back on all His teaching and say,” I’m finally here God, I get it now. Thanks.”
