Enough gas to get you to the next county (maybe), two tickets to the cheap seat movie theater that takes you at least that much gas to get to. How about a toy for the niece turning 5? Well just imagine what would happen if $5.09 could change the world. Ya know what? It can. It can send a missionary or non-profit worker to the streets of Thailand literaliy pulling young children out of the hands of pimps and human trafficers. It can send a women to school for a week were that same worker can show her skills that will support her and her family where she doesn’t have to sell her body for a days worth of bread. $5.09 can be apart of programs in remote Africans villages bringing them food and equipment to dig wells to get much needed water. I can send the worker to a New Zealand school telling teens there are other choices then killing themselves for attention or because they see themselves as worthless. $5.09 can do a lot, but it can’t do it if it’s not there.
