I have met many new people through the past few months, even strangers giving in the mail. It’s incredible how we can all join together to support one cause! I now have $4,000 in my World Race account!! I only need $11,000 more by April 1!!! I’m so excited!
My biggest fundraiser is the 1-5-0 which is 150 individuals and families pledging to give $100. I started the 1 5 0 fundraiser recently and 20 families have already signed up and given. That is just 110 more families needed to give $100.00 each. (All the funds are due April 1.) Would you please consider joining?
A personal update- I’m starting to work out again after a few months off. Since I was diagnosed with Graves Disease (hyper thriod) I’ve been fatigued by the new medications I’m taking. Weeks later my bloodwork looks great and I’m ready to start moving!! And all of my bloodwork will be on level before I even get to training camp in May! I’m TOTALLY cleared to go on the World Race and the medication will not hinder me at all while overseas!
I will be interviewed about the Race on a podcast this Sunday and I will post up the link when I know it!
