I have now arrived in South Africa. We are in a city called Nelspruit for a few days, and on Thursday we are leaving to different countries, as the teams split up for our ministry here. We don’t know yet what teams will be working at what project. South Africa is beautiful. There are so many mountains, and I love it already.
For now I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who sent things with my parents to New York. We had a great visit. Thanks to the people at church who sent cards, and to the Loxton’s for their gift.
I would also like to send a big thank you to Mapleridge Public School. Thanks to Mr. Principal (Mike) for allowing my mom to come see me. Thank you to all the kids in Senior Kindergarten who wrote stories for me. I read them all and enjoyed them. Thanks especially to Adrianna for the snake that you made for me.
Thanks to Ms. Simpson. Thank you for your ongoing support of my mission trip, for continually reading my blogs and for sharing your thoughts with my mom. I know she is really appricative of it, and she loves it. Thank you also for the candy and the ziplocs. I have shared the candy with some other people on the team and they have also enjoyed having it.
Thank-you Jenn, Jess and Kelly for the book, I have read it and I love it. Thank you also for your letters and Ryan as well. I really enjoyed reading them, and I am sure that I will read them again and again. I loved hearing about your weekend girls, I wish I could have been there (except then I wouldn’t be in AFRICA!) and Ryan, I am SO sorry the Leafs aren’t in the playoffs ha ha.
Thanks mommy and daddy for coming to New York to see me. It was really nice to see you, and be able to show you my pictures, and show off my new found packing skills. Thank you for the extra room you got for my friends, I now have the coolest parents on the trip.
Thank you to everyone!!!
