We did some different things in Durban than we are used to.  Most of the time I spent building 45 beds for orphans.  This is about half of the beds they needs for the orphanage.  I found out that by having us make beds instead of professionals (although Mark is a professional carpenter) Missions Ablaze saved 50,000 rand (about $6250).  We also went a few days to help with the feeding ministry they have.  They feed about 500 people each day, half a loaf of bread and soup.

I got to plane the boards for the beds

Then they were sanded

Then assembled

These beds are ready for varnishing
