So… this is probably the most sad top ten list that I will ever do, because I don’t want to leave this place. But, I know I’ll be back, so it’s not really goodbye… here goes nothing…
1- Rickshaws are always more expensive because I am white.
2- I cannot stop doing the head bobble.
3- Hindi is everywhere, and I am so excited!
4- Being around Muslims and Hindus again is kind of a shock after Christian Africa.
5- Watching Slumdog Millionaire here was sort of ironic, hilarious, and a bit awkward.
6- I am an “Auntie” to anyone younger than me.
7- Chai… everyday… at least three times… this is why I am coming back.
8- It is hot all the time.
9- Women wear fresh flowers in their hair every day.
10- Paul, Anita, and Jr. at Capstone Community Church in Bangalore!!!
Also, to add a number 11, I loved having my birthday here. It was so good and I am so thankful for a great ministry to work with, an amazing team, and an amazing squad. I could not have asked for more… also… I saw the Taj Mahal!! I love India!!!
