Well…what to know about who I am…
My name is Laura and I love Jesus! My heart has been missions for about 3 years now and I know that God has something so big and purposeful for my life! I graduated with a Bachelors in Liberal Arts this past semester and I have never spent more than 2 weeks away from my family. I am the worship leader in my home church youth group (Airbourne Youth!) Saying yes to this race has been one of the most crucial decisions that I have ever made. It is quickly approaching and I feel that there is no way to truly be ready for it. Besides not knowing what to expect and having to leave everything that I have ever known, I am so excited about this next year and I am sure that this is the next step that God has for me. I cannot wait to meet my new family and travel to unknown (by me) places all for the glory of the One who has saved me!
What do I like? Literature, singing especially with my dad and brother, being outside, cooking, worship, rain, writing, reading, photography, art, organizing, movies, long conversations, dark coffee, a few really close friends, the Word of God, travel, new cultures, the morning, learning about other’s everyday lives, and my family.
Don’t like? Pickles, disorganization, closemindedness, being behind someone slow in traffic, olives, misplacing something and looking for it for half of the day, fruity drinks, sleeping late, and other things that I cannot think of right now… 😉
