Hey friends and family!

I’M ALIVE!!! I know all of you were worried about it, seeing on I haven’t blogged in such a long time. Please give me grace. Time is a valued and insufficient luxury on the Race.

Picture a two week mission trip. You cram as much as you can into those two weeks, running your body on empty so you can serve and give to as many people as you can during your time there. You leave it all there, all you have, because God is calling you to give your all, but also because you know you can get your rest when you get back home. Every experienced this? Whether on a local or national or international mission trip? If you have, you have experienced what two weeks on the Race feels like. But now, think in months. Four and a half months to be exact. Most nights I fall into my bed at night and crawl out in the morning. But, isn’t that an awesome picture on what dependence on God looks like? Being exhausted on all levels—physical, mental, emotional—and turning over control to Him and letting Him carry you to places that you would never get to on your own. Many spare moments are spent debriefing the events of the day or week with my teammates, or having time to recovery and refocus the body, mind, and soul. I don’t say all this to excuse my lack of updates or writing. But hopefully, you can understand a bit more of what my day to day life looks like.

So many things have happened over the past few months, and I want to give you a glimpse into my life and the ministry that God has given to me.

Are you ready? Are you ready to share in the joy, heartache, pain, victory, and revelation that God has been leading me through?

Look to my next blog for an update from Month 3 in the Philippines (November) and the brokenness that God brought me to and the beauty that followed.
