I can’t wrap my head around the fact that I am finishing Month 7 here in India and about to be traveling to Africa for the next two months. I kinda want to just press pause on this whole experience and keep it mine forever. But, I know that’s not the point of this thing. The point is to bring life to people, whether it’s people in India or Africa, or it’s the people you are living with 24/7, or it’s friends and family back home. Sooo, I’m posting some pictures from last month in Nepal, and the life that we were given to live that month!

Nepal is breath-taking. For a girl who grew up in mostly flatlands of Mississippi, living in the shadow of the Himalayan Mountains was an incredible experience. Our ministry contact was located in the Kathmandu Valley about an hour outside of the city of Kathmandu. My team’s main ministry centered around preaching multiple times a day to different house fellowships around the Valley. We walked A LOT. We preached A LOT. And we Nepali-style prayed (gathering in a circle and everyone praying at the same time) A LOT. God displayed His beauty to me in His creation A LOT.

So, here are a few pics from my time there.

Hanging out with 23 CRAZY Nepali kids during children’s church. I’m thankful I survived that one.

We hiked up to this temple on the top of a mountain that overlooked the whole Valley and prayed for dry bones to put on flesh.

Making a mud paste (dirt, water, straw, and manure) that we used to make the walls for a church

EVEREST FLIGHT!!!

Thank you, Father, for guiding my life to this place. Thank you for Nepal and the wonder of our beauty there. Raise up a people of strong faith that will speak Your Truth to all.
