Although I have always believed in the roller coaster of life, I have become more aware than ever that where there’s a down, there’s always an up. If you look closely enough with God in your heart you can see an even balance of up’s and down’s, good and bad, stressful and positive. I have struggled for as long as I can remember with the downside of scenarios that life throws at us. It was not until I started to turn my life over to the Lord that I began to see most of the bad, the pain, the negative as overwhelmingly necessary. Those moments and situations brought so much growth, and as I have opened my heart up more and more to God, I began to see pain as joy, trials as gifts, frustration as purposefully unanswered prayers, loneliness as a dare to listen to God in your heart and still believe that you are alone, and every hopeless thought as a hopeful one. Life throws so much at us that it can be very difficult to find the serenity to follow what God would want us to, but when you do, you will be blown away by the absolute perfectness that falls into place. God’s plans are perfect. Some are clouded behind pain, disappointment, failure etc., but I believe that this is God’s purposeful preparation for us to receive something so perfect and so right from him (and I believe that this is a cycle that will repeat itself as it requires FAITH in God). My acceptance into the World Race is what I have received from God that is so simply and purely right. Who would have thought that I would feel instant love, support, connection and COMFORT in this huge life changing journey that I am about to encounter?! God leads you to the right people, the right situations, the right struggles in order to prepare you for the greatness he expects of you. That I truly believe!
