L– I LOVE people! I have wanted to go out into the world and share the love of God with people since I was little. I traveled to Indonesia, Malaysia, Italy, Egypt, and Cyprus in 05'and 06' with Youth With A Mission and it was life changing. I will never forget God's heart for them and I am so excited to return to Malaysia with the World Race!
A– Age: I turned 26 on October 4th this year!
U-Unrestrained. It is my desire to be unrestrained in how I love.
R– God is my Reality! He is more real to me every single day! I wouldn't be where I am and doing what I am doing if it wasn't for His unconditional love, grace, and joy that He is lavished on me!
A-Appreciation for music! In fact, I love music. I teach piano, voice, and guitar to some pretty amazing kids and young adults! I love my job! It brings a huge smile to my face to see my students grow in confidence and in their music!
J-Jean is my middle name and it means "God is Gracious". Perfect middle name for me. Gracious means to be kind and merciful and I have experienced tons of that in my life! I love opportunities where I can pour that grace out on others as well!
E-Other things I enjoy: watching colors change in the fall, walking on the beach, hiking, star gazing, smoothies (the healthy ones and the not as healthy ones ;), red velvet cake, hanging out with incredible friends, writing music, flip flops (I seriously would wear them all year round if I could), fying in aiplanes, and I guess I'll stop there for now. That was seriously fun 🙂
A-Adventure. I CRAVE adventure. An adventure to me would be to go to a church I've never been to before, or a hot air balloon ride, or just go for a walk in the park on a path I've never taken. I love to explore and to dream with God about where He will take me. I am so excited to see more of His creation!
N-Nostalgic. I love looking back at things that were life changing to me.
B– BUBBLE TEA!! mmm…I absolutely love bubble tea. Too bad there isnt a "C" in my name because I also LOVE Chai tea!!
R– Radical is an interesting word and I've been thinking a lot about it lately. I'm reading the Barbarian Way by Erwin McGregor and I think He's on to something. Some may think what I am about to do is radical, but really I'm responding to the call of God in my life. The love of God is huge. It is life changing. It shifts atmostpheres and transforms nations. God has called not just me, but everyone to be a part of His grand story, whether here in America or overseas and in whatever way that looks like. As Christians maybe we should all look a little more radical in the way we love and live our lives.
O-Occupation I've had: I worked for Hospice for 3 and 1/2 years and it was one of the most rewarding yet challenging things I've ever done. I wouldn't trade my experiences for anything. I learned so much about God, life, and myself. I will never forget the lives I was honored to be a part of.
W-World interest! International culture is so interesting to me! I could sit (and have sat) in a bookstore just looking at books in the travel section for hours. I love to look at pictures of places I've never been and dream about going there one day!
N– Nephew's name is Braiden! He is almost 4 years old and is one of the greatest gifts in my life! I love him dearly! I could talk all day about this wonderful little boy. By the way, he calls me "Worla" and it melts my heart every time.
Well, that's it for now! Again, thanks for visiting my page! Have a wonderful day!
