Hey Guys!!
So……..there has been a slight change of plans…
But DON'T FRET. I am still leaving on the World Race in September (8 WEEKS ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!)
I'm just going to be going to 11 different countries than I originally planned 🙂 I am so EXCITEDDDDDDD!! for this switch.
[About 3 minutes ago, this blog entry went into much greater detail about how the switch came about and I came to the decision and what it meant for my life, but then it all vanished, never to be recovered. And I honestly just dont have it in me to write it all out again. Just please know that it was a decision that I spent a lot of time in prayer about and I wholeheartedly believe that this new route is where God wants me to be.]
That said, I will take the time to resay this: Even in this simple, or not so simple, thing of switching routes, God has used it to demonstrate His love for me and continue bringing healing to my life. (Back Story: I've often struggled with and questioned if God really cares about me and my life and all the things that go on in it. I know that He loves EVERYONE, but there has always been this question of whether or not He cares about me, as an individual). So, I found myself weeping as I sent this to one of my bestfriends, Julie:
"I'm just really excited. This new route just feels so right. Which just makes me really weepy hahaha because I feel like God really does have His hand on my life and He cares about me, ME as an individual in this world full of billions of other people and all the other chaos that continually ensues. He cares enough to really orchastrate my life and plan it out. Just for me. He has a plan just for me. I dont think I've ever really FULLY grasped that or even believed that until now."
Soooooooooo, yeah. Therefore, beginning in September, I will now going to the following countries:
Guatamala El Salvador
Honduras
Philippines Austrailia
Malaysia
Thailand Cambodia
Kenya
Uganda Rwanda
That said, I am only 6 weeks and $2946.00 away from meeting my next deadline, which has to be met in order for me to launch in September.
