I’d like to present Doug’s latest video: India.
I think it’s safe to say that, as a team, this one is our favorite so far. Because our community was so small in India – just our team and this little village for 4 weeks – we grew very close to those families. We know the names and the stories of each of those faces shown. Each little clip reminds us of a particular village, a particular happy memory. I could watch it over and over.
My Dear, India – Month 3 from Doug Linstedt on Vimeo.
Our 2nd debrief together as a squad starts in a couple of days, and I’m here early to help prepare everything. It’s a bittersweet time, as a lot of changes are going to be announced this debrief. Most notably, new Squad Leaders are being raised up. They’ll be trained next month by Andrew and Alys, who will then return to the U.S. at the end of May. But having new squad leaders also means that teams will be shuffled around… we’ll be saying goodbye to the mini families that have watched us grow these past months, and say hello to a new group of people who will challenge us in new ways.
As I type, I’m keenly feeling my love for Team Entrusted, so I’m trying not to think about changes too much… instead, I’m just concentrating on logistical details. I’ll let you know the big changes when they happen!
One last thing: I’ve noticed how many hits my “About Me” page has gotten… unfortunately, there was nothing there for people to see. I felt a little bit guilty about that. So now the situation has been rectified. If you want to read a little bit about my life before the Race, head on over. 🙂
