Family & friends!

It’s about dang time I gave ya’ll an update on my life huh?! Don’t worry – I am still very much alive & loving my life over here on this side of the world! I haven’t been in the same city for more than a week since December 1st & between transitioning into leadership, leaving the Middle East, & entering into Asia, life has just been crazy. But I am hoping & praying to get back into the blogging groove, so you should be hearing from me way more often because WOW I just got a whole lotta God stories that deserve to be told!!!

But for now, I couldn’t think of a better blog post to start off 2019 than our journey in Israel! My squad & I spent our first week in the New Year exploring the Holy Land.

The land that God promised the Israelites.

The land where David reigned & Solomon built the first house of the Lord.

The land that the Savior of the world walked through – healing the sick, casting out demons, feeding the hungry.

The land that He was persecuted in, died in, buried in, & resurrected in.

& we got to explore it & live it!

We got to create relationships with the locals & pray for their businesses.

We got to explore the Holy sites & walk where Jesus walked.

We got to worship our Savior at the site of the tomb where He was believed to be buried & resurrected!!! (I’m pretty sure this was the sweetest moment of my whole life.)

All of that to say, I think the coolest thing of all was realizing that we are some lucky & blessed people.

We are God’s people.

& you know what that means? That means that we do not have to go to these holy & ancient sites to experience Him. Yes, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity & one that i will NEVER forget, but God just really showed me the beauty of serving a living God.

A God that will pursue us to the ends of the Earth.

A God who stays the same & who is able to do the mightiest of things whether that’s at the site of His Son’s resurrection or on your living room floor.

I mean, Amen to that right?!

SO! I had it on my heart to take you guys on a journey with me through this incredible land. I put together my first ever VLOG (ah nervous!) in the hopes to give you guys a real life glimpse into the amazing experience we had. You get to see the sights we saw, the locals we met, & our experience worshipping in the Garden of the Tomb. I hope you enjoy it & I hope it gives you a looksie into our incredible time Israel!
