Trusting is one of the hardest things to do. It takes a long time to build trust, seconds to break it, and forever to repair it. With God our trust will never be broken. He is always there for us, He created everything that we see around us, and He made each of us in His image. We have nothing without Him, and He has a plan for each of our lives.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
I trust in Christ, and He has always provided for me and has blessed me with everything that I have. Following Jesus is sometimes not easy especially if it means spending 9 months out of your comfort zone in countries that you have never even been to before. However, our mission as believers is to make disciples of all nations and to spread the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. God has called us to be ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Another thing that God has shown me in my first few months of support raising is that He will provide. He calls us to trust in Him and to not let worry get in our way. Lately I have been worrying about where all of the money for this trip will come from, but I know that I just have to put my trust in Him and He will provide everything that I need.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
For this trip I have to raise a large sum of money, but I know that this is what I am called to do, and that the Lord will provide. I am almost to halfway of my goal of $15,800 and it has only been a few months, which completely blows my mind! I still have about a little over half of my money to raise until I reach my goal, so if you would like to help me spread the Gospel to the people of Thailand, Malaysia, Costa Rica, and Ecuador, then please consider making a donation by clicking the “donate” button at the top of the page. Any amount is greatly appreciated! However, if you are not able to donate or do not feel led to, that is totally ok! You can also keep me in your prayers as I prepare to embark upon this amazing adventure. Thank you to those of you who have already given so generously! May God bless each and every one of you, and don’t forget to subscribe to my blog so you can receive future updates! 🙂
Yours in Christ,
Landon Mullins
