I FINALLY MADE IT TO THAILAND!!!!! I have been waiting for this for so long that it’s almost unreal I am actually here. It was a super long, tiring journey, but I am so excited to be here! This is what our 2 days of traveling looked like:
2 hour flight from ATL to JFK
12 hour layover in JFK
15 hour flight from JFK to Shanghai
4 hour flight from Shanghai to Bangkok
4 hour layover in Bangkok
1.5 hour flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai
If there is one word I would use to describe how I have been feeling this past week, it is “numb.” At launch I just felt so spiritually detached from God, and was basically limiting myself from encountering Him. Honestly, I was just numb to my feelings in general. I have been sick, which has kind of drained my energy and I just wasn’t being intentional about spending time with God. It was like everybody was on fire for God and I was just standing there watching.
I am also the treasurer for my team, so that has been majorly stressing me out. Since I am the treasurer, I am in charge of keeping up with all of the money stuff for my team. I do the receipts, try to keep us on budget, and get money to people. I am super glad that I get the opportunity to do this though, and I think that it will help me out in life and give me some really valuable experience.
Lastly, I am less than $800 away from being FULLY FUNDED for my trip! Y’alls support has been incredible and I literally wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you to everyone who has donated or who has been praying for me!
