So I want to acknowledge an amazing ministry that we guys got to participate in. I’m in Indonesia and I’m doing UH, which means that we are basically a survey team finding ministries for future racers. We connected with a ministry called, BAIS (Bandung Alliance Intercultural School). This is a private school that teaches young kids to young adults about Christ, while also teaching them a huge spectrum of education and skill building. It’s a beautiful school with a variety of ethnicity and personality. The kids are taught both to speak English and Bahasa, which is the Indonesian language. The teachers are top notch as spending time with them I have seen there love for God and for Children as they teach with passion and intelligence.
With all that being said they strive to bring in learning through action as well as words.
I had the privilege of being apart of what’s called week with out walls. It’s a three-day event where students go and help at different events such as deaf ministry, picking up trash, painting and construction, preschool, sports with the city kids and many others. I got to go to a Baptist school and love on them and teach English, take pictures and stir up some fun. It was a blast and the kids from the school did a fantastic job. Overall I spent two days with this school and I can say with all truth that they are doing amazing things with the kids. Teaching them God through there daily lives. Continue to pray for this school, the teachers, students, parents as they do ministry, learn and grow and apply everything in there daily lives. Im so thankful I was able to be apart of this school and get to know them.
