“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

The word power in this verse refers to the Greek word: dynamis… which is the power to preach the gospel effectively and also the power (through the Holy Spirit) to work miracles confirming the message.
I want to walk in the power that I have… and often take for granted. I want to share the gospel with my words, yes… but I am realizing it is far more than that.

I want to tap into the power to work miracles that CONFIRM the message I am preaching.

If seeing is believing, let’s make the world SEE the gospel by what we do. And let’s not stop where we are, but let’s take that power to the end of the earth.

My prayer is that I wouldn’t get comfortable with what the Lord has given me, but instead, that I would constantly be asking for more. More power. More of the Spirit. More love. More of Him. All the while, asking for less of me.
