Hello Lovely People!
This time around I am Squad Leading! Which means me as well as two other fellows have the privilege of serving and discipling 40 squadmates who will venture out to do the World Race (11 countrires in 11 months mission trip) which I did two years ago now. This time I will only be traveling with the squad for 5 of the 11 months and then will get to meet up for their end of 8 month debrief and end of 11 month debrief. During these last two debriefs we fly to which ever country they’re in and love on them, pour into them, and encourage them. Because of this, I only need to raise $6,500 instead of $15,500 again. Even $11 makes a difference! There is also a funds indicator bar at the top of my blog that shows how much I have raised and have still to raise to reach my goal.
As well as financial funds my squad and me are in high need of prayer. So if you can’t support in any way financially, your support in lifting us up in prayer is still crucial!
Things to be praying:
Health and safety over the whole squad
Wisdom from Holy Spirit in how to guide these amazing people toward their Father in any situation
That I would learn how to rest in His peace even without sleep, or the amount of time I think I need
The hearts of the harvest to be softened and our eyes to be open to loving those people as Christ loves us
Everyone would stay hungry to dive deeper into seeking intimacy with the Lord
We would each put serving others above serving ourselves
Our hearts to stay postured towards Jesus through all things, and that we would learn to walk in a life of worship in all that we do
The squad would get to witness Holy Spirit move in new ways (and me too!)
The squad would grow in steadfast faith in trusting that their Father is always good
They would come to faith of who Christ is in each of them
We would be open to have God’s eyes and His perspective in every new encounter
All of us would honor each other in our words always
Each of us would be transformed even more into His likeness and image
We would have feet of readiness to be His gospel
We would learn to walk in all of His freedom and grace
