Sarah is a fun loving charming and animated woman… At 31 she looks and acts more like 23.. She brings joy and fun to everyplace we go… She is a deep thinker and often times will surprise me with some deep thought or idea about faith or team dynamics..
Her bright smile and adorable freckles draw people to her as her stories come alive with her hand movements and silly facial movements.. Her husband is in
Iraq
and I hear we get to meet him in
Guatemala
soon.. I hope he will let us steal a hot shower from his room every once in a while !! he he
Chad
is 27 and on a mission! He is sharp and aggressively tackles every situation with his whole heart.. Seemingly tireless he brings a zeal and passion to our group.. His desire to press into the Lord with all he has is an inspiration to us all.. He is optimistic and open to change.. He loves to have fun and makes good times a top priority in all our journeys.. Expect Miracles is the motto he said our team will embrace, and that we have! With his leadership and Gods guidance Im sure Miracles will always surround us as we continue this journey together..
Kimberly is a ray of sunshine.. Like bees attracted to honey the children are attracted to sweet Kims love… Her arms are big enough to fit every single child in every single village into them… She remembers their names and never tires of their games.. She often times will just belt out a cheerful song in the van when things get dull or tiresome, making those long trips fun… Her giant heart is in full force as she never fails to remember to write thank you notes to people who help us along the way.. She ties the loose ends makes sure all our bridges never burn down..
Well, im of a different sort… My place isn’t as obvious as my team mates.. I seem to be a bridge of some sort for them all.. A mother figure and voice to the unsaid emotions that need to find there way to the surface.. The gentle center in the whirlpool of our ministry and the wisdom and faith behind the force…
I am truly blessed to have the group I have.. I can only imagine what Lloyd will bring to our team, and look forward to all the journeys we will have together and the bonds we will continue to build as we walk in faith together in this World race…
