The beautiful waterfalls that surround our debref site are overflowing… With 3 days of rain the once steady flowing falls are now raging… One of the falls rages out of a cave.. And we were told a few brave souls have clibed the falls and entered the cave, and althought pitch black another beautiful water fall lies within waiting to be seen by eyes couragous enough to seek out its beauty..
As i looked across the base of the falls to the mouth of the cave with angry water waging war with the rocks lining the cliffs below, i decided, today I want to see whats in that cave…..
So off i went, Picking up other brave souls on my way, we numbered 6 by the time we go to the bottom of the falls..
Under the huge falls the wind whirled and swept the water drops up and deposited them on us as we headed toward our destination.. We screamed out all sorts of funny things, excitedment building, as the ice cold air mixed with the chilly water pelting us…
One by one we grabed the rope and pulled ourselves up the step incline, water rushing over our feet and the over head falls raining down over our heads…
Towards the top the water was tigh high and any hiden dry places on our courageous bodies had been found and occupied by the warring waters…
Once in the mouth of the cave, flash lights started blinking on as the darkness hit us face to face… We slowly and carefully continued as stories of water eels added to the fear and excitment we all felt…
At the end a huge chasm opened up and the flashlights revealed beautiful falls draining out of the rock walls of the inside of the mountain.. Bats squirmed as our flashlights woke them from there slumber..
The loud rushing of water brought peace to my soul and my spirit drank from the still pools of clear water surrounding me..
Now to get back !!! LOL hehe
