Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.

How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.

How many of you know the song “Amazing Grace“, that I have posted above? If you haven`t you should go listen to it! I chose to put it on my about me, because like many of you, I can really relate to it, and it`s a testimony on how my life has been radically changed!
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
What a wretch I was! I was lost, broken and looking for love in all the wrong places. I was just passing through life wasting away, trying to find fulfillment in Partying, drinking, drugs, guys, living for SELF.
I once was lost, but now I’m found.
‘Twas blind, but now I see.
I was so lost, finding my identity in things that had no value. I was so blind, I had scales over my eyes and was so hardened to God. Despite what I have done, God met me where I was at and had amazing grace on me, and He can do the same for you! My eyes where open to the Gospel. The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). That means that your sins have caused a separation between you and God (Isaiah 59:2) and the result is death (Rom. 6:23) and wrath (Eph. 2:3). The only way out, is to be saved by faith in Christ (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 5:1). You must trust in what Jesus did on the cross to forgive you of your sins and not trust anything else, not even your own sincerity or works. Jesus can set you free from the bondage of sin that blinds your eyes, weakens your soul, and brings you to despair. He can do this because He bore sin in His body on the cross (1 Peter. 2:24) that those who trust in Him would be saved.
I am found and now I see! Jesus has set me free from bondage, and has broken the chains of my sin. As I accepted Jesus into my heart everything changed. “And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. -Ezekiel 3:26″ Amen, God has given me a new heart and new desires. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. – 2 Corinthians 5:17” This verse was and always be a main verse that explains my radical transformation in Christ. I was looking for love in all the wrong places, when true love is found in Christ! I now find my identity in Christ alone.
- I am a wretched sinner saved my grace through faith, it is a free gift of God and NOT OF MYSELF, there is nothing I can do to save myself, God came into this world to save us from OURSELVES
- God has given me a new heart with new desires
- desires to PLEASE & LIVE FOR HIM ALONE
- When I am faithless, God remains faithful
- I have been saved now for almost 3 years
- God knows the depths of my heart, all the wickedness but He still loves me the same! WOAH <3
