I have been putting off blogging for some time because I have to share my thoughts with the world…I have to be transparent…but I’m trying it out. One of the first blogs we are to write is our expectations for the trip…
Ex-pect

1.to look forward to; regard as likely to happen; anticipate the occurrence or the coming of.
- I expect to be hungry
- Dirty
- To smell
- To be scared
- But also to be brave
- To be adventrurous
- To be stretched beyond what I thought was possible…and then be stretched some more.
- But it will be possible because I have God by my side
- To become transparent and open with my team
- To be molded
- To bring justice
- I expect my heart to break
- But God will pick up the pieces and put them back together
- For me to hold dear lives close
- And for God to hold me
- For God to challege me
- To worship
- To trust God and his faithfullness
- Cry
- To be united
- To feast and fellowship
- I expect to miss my family
- To make new friends and a new family
- I expect my days to be difficult
- To experience true love.
- And the fruit. Joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self control
- To trust God
- And to pray
- To watch God change lives while being part of it
- To be amazed by Gods glory and his grace
- To see miracles
- To live like Jesus
- And to love like Jesus
- To sing praises
- And to lead others to the savior I know and love.
- I expect to abandon my expectations and to lean on God for the next year
- I expect to be wrecked. Completely wrecked for Jesus Christ.
- I am fearfully excited and looking forward to it. I have many expectations that only the trip will reveal.
- I expect to find PURPOSE
- And I am expecting the unexpected
