I have never peed in a thorn bush that I can recall. This was the first time. I think I might be on my way to becoming a real World Racer.=)

I have had to pee in the woods before…but not in a thorn bush. I wouldnt recommend it.

This week at TRAINING CAMP has been full of firsts and nevers for me.

I’ve never had to step out of my comfort zone more than I did this week.

Before this week I didnt eat boiled corn meal for breakfast. Or rice soup..ick

I never slept outside under the stars like sardines with teamates, and shared my bed with a family of ants. Or naybe they were sharing their home with me…I’m unsure

Before this week I dont know that I really appreciated showering so much. We were all showered in sweat most of the day. So a shower with soap! It was glorious!

I had never stood on a wobbly folding chair and screamed at the top of my lungs the declarations of God.
I had never sang so loud, and sincerely meant it from my soul
I have never recieved so many generous bug bites. Much thanks to the mosquitoes, chiggers etc…
Before this week I never jumped out of bed at 6:30 ready and willing to exercise…well, I didnt exactly jump out of bed…but I managed to drag myself.
I never imagined wrapping my arms around my squad and sitting in a lake under the stars talking to our savior for hours
.

I have never experience to the fullest, the peace. The utter peace God brings! I love it!

I had never cooked an entire meal…over a campfire…for near 40 people…

I never went and talked to homeless people hopeing to bless them and be entirely blessed myself.
I never knew a bunch of girls and their cabin could smell so awful! I thought us girls were supposed to smell like roses. Hello febreeze!
I never went days without combing my hair…currently I havent combed my hair in a few weeks…just so you know…
I never realized that your water bottle takes the place of your cell phone. It goes everywhere you go.
I never felt such power in prayer. I lovelovelove the laying of hands and serious prayer.
Before this week I had never felt so FORGIVEN, REDEEMED, RESTORED and FREE

I never realized being a world racer would be like this!

This week at training camp has been like no other experience I have ever had.

It was the most freeing, difficult, best, challenging, exausting, restoring week of my life. God moved and healed like I had never seen him move before. I had never experienced a lot of things before this camp and I will continue to have plenty of firsts and nevers over this next year.

Bring it on!
