In the last year God has turned my world upside down – bankruptcy, new job, failed marriage, and by the grace of God and through it all, I received a new heart, renewed passion & a clean start.
I grew up in a Christian home with two amazing and Godly parents. I just moved far away from God for a little while and lost sight of what was important in life. A life filled with sin and disobedience brought me to a place where all I had left was God. I was unhappy in my marriage, disappointed in myself and empty. I cried out to God to change me. I no longer wanted to be in charge. I needed a new start. I wanted to be obedient to God. So, here I am.
I’m a 27 year old event planner living in Birmingham, AL with three destructive dogs – Milo, Oscar and Shep. My parents, Roland and Debbie, are in the process of moving from Atlanta to Huntsville, that is if their house ever sells. My parents have been lifesavers and have turned out to be 2 of the coolest people I know and my best friends. I am so glad God chose them to be my mom and dad. I have an older sister, Lindsay and a younger brother, Ross, leaving me smack dab in the middle. We all used to fight like normal siblings do, but have actually become great friends over the years. My aunt, Tonya, is only 10 years older than me so she is essentially like a sister (but more like a best friend), but she and her husband, Lamar, have 2 boys that I just adore and can’t get enough of. Nathan is 6 and Jacob is 2 and they are so incredibly precious I wish I could carry them around in my pocket. I spend a great deal of time with them and I believe life couldn’t get any nuttier than dinner time with Nathan & Jacob. They are both so silly and stole my heart at first glance. My family is a HUGE part of my life.
