Time has been flying by so quickly these past few months!
It is just so crazy for me to think about how soon my life is going to change for forever. High school is coming to an end and a new phase of my life is going to quickly begin..
And I am so ready to follow God throughout this new adventure! I am so excited to meet my team, to sleep in my tent with all of my teammates camped out around me at training camp, to arrive in Guatemala on day one and attempt to envision what my life will be like for the next 9 months, to love on some adorable children of God, to minister and share life changing news to lost people, to see the gospel finally click in the eyes of new believers, to grow closer to my amazing team and minister alongside them, to see new parts of God’s beautiful creation, and oh SO many others! I have so many things to look forward to!
Although experiencing these things means saying goodbye to so many friends, family, and experiences, I trust that God will pour comfort and purpose into me where I will be missing and guide me where he has intended.
These next couple months that I have here are going to go by so quickly.. and I know this because it seems like yesterday that I started senior year and here we are just 20 days away from graduation!
While I am so eager to leave, I’m also so excited to spend these next 2ish months with the people that I love.
