Hello Family and Friends!
I am writing to announce to you that I will be embarking on an amazing, life-altering journey in the very near future!
I am proud to say that I was accepted into the World Race Gap Year program! This program is part of Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational mission’s organization that has sent over 100,000 people into the mission field since 1989. The World Race Gap Year is one of their trips, specifically for young adults to travel to 3 countries in 9 months.
My trip will launch in August of 2016, where I will be ministering in Guatemala, Lesotho, and Cambodia! In these countries I will be loving on the unloved, giving hope to the hopeless, and sharing what I believe to be my most precious gift, my faith. I have been feeling God’s call towards missions for quite some time and God has made it very clear that he wants little ol’ me to go out and minister to his people across the nations. I know that on this trip God is going to work through me to do some amazing things and I am so elated to see just what he has in store for me.
This is a daunting trip and I will not be able to do it without the help of a giant village of my most favorite people! This is where you come in! There are two areas where need your help:
- PRAYER– Prayer will be essential for my trip to be a success. Please try to keep me in your prayers throughout this year before I launch as well as the nine months I will be ministering. If you would like to join my prayer team please subscribe to my blog www.kyndalcody.worldrace.org! I will be sending out specific prayer requests at the end of each blog throughout this journey. And I already have a few things uploaded to my bog if you want to get to know a little more about me and my calling to this trip.
- FINANCES– This trip will cost a total of $13,605- which includes the costs of training, travel, lodging, food, and other necessities while abroad. This sum seems very overwhelming, but I know that God will supply me with the funds I need. Therefore, I ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with me on this journey. God has given each of us a unique role in expanding his kingdom and financial support may be where he has called you to be! You can either donate with a lump sum of any amount or you can choose to donate monthly.
