Howdy Y’all!
I am Kyndal Cody and I am from the great state of Texas! I live in Georgetown, and am currently in my Senior Year at Georgetown High. After I graduate I am beyond excited to say that I will be going on THE WORLD RACE GAP YEAR in August 2016! I will spend three months each in Guatemala, Lesotho, and Cambodia! I have been hearing God’s call towards missions for quite some time, and have always known that I would be doing something crazy like the World Race at some point… I just didn’t think it would be this soon. I envisioned myself having a college degree, maybe even a husband, and definitely having my life figured out, but God has a funny way of working. God has made it clear that he wants little ol’ me to be a part of his big plan. I may not have a college degree but I do have God by my side, and I know he will qualify me for whatever mission he has planned. I know that this is where God wants me to be, and I am excited to see what he has in store.
Random Facts:
1. I became a Christian at age 6.
2. I am a middle child. Big brother: Chase Little sister: Cassidy
3. I went on my first overseas mission trip in July of 2015 to RUSSIA.
4. I would always rather be reading.
5. I teach a crazy yet awesome Sunday school class of 4&5 year olds.
6. I am in the midst of writing an 8 week devotional in my Capstone class.
7. I am a cat lady.
8. I have an extremely adorable Golden Retriever.
9. I am an apologetics nerd.
10. I am a swimmer.
11. I am a Choir student.
12. I have no backpacking experience..(Unless you count reading Wild by Cheryl Strayed?)
13. I have never spent a whole night in a tent..(Although I read Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer… I mean they slept in tents and I read it at night?)
