Let’s just be honest, fundraising is HARD WORK! There are days, like recently, that I have gone to bed feeling so defeated because I am sitting at 12.6% funded now and have been for the past week. It is so challenging to me because this is all new; I never thought I would actually have to raise such a significant amount of money.

I want to be 100% transparent about fundraising. (Ask me at any time if you’re curious, I’d love to let you in on what God is doing/does!) I have to meet 4 financial deadlines.

So right now I am sitting at $2,294 (Woohoo, thank you!! <3).

My first deadline is September 25th of $5,000 (only $2,706 left!!!) — This gets me to training camp where I will meet my squad and live like I will be next year, for 10 days!

My second deadline is December 21st of $10,000 (only $7,706 left!!!).

The third deadline is February 28th (I will already be on the field at this point) of $13,000 (only $10,706 left!!!).

The last deadline I need to be fully funded by April 30th of the full $18,200 (only $15,906 left!!).

So how do I meet these deadlines?? One of the best ways is committing to a monthly donation. Whether it be $20 or $100 or anything in between, committing to a monthly donation will seriously make a huge difference in helping me reach my goal! Of course, one time donations are always welcome as well.

SOOO…..

I have decided I am finished trying to do this thing on my own. I am finished exhausting my own strength. I am finished believing lie that I am not going to fundraise enough. I am surrendering it all. I am laying it down at the feet of Jesus.

It is ALL about putting my FULL trust in Him and only Him. I can see Him demonstrating how much He adores and loves and cares for me when people ask me how fundraising is going or when I see even the smallest donation come through. He works in big ways and He works in small ways. He goes that extra distance for me. I am oh so thankful that I can see that.
