I know
Deep in my heart
That the World Race is where God is placing me for this next season in my life.
I know
That God wants to work in my heart, I know that He wants to change me, I know that He wants me to live for more than myself, I know that He wants me to love freely, to give of myself.
I remember the first time I logged onto the World Race website, I clicked onto a video link and watched it…And something inside me began to stir and bubble up inside me. Tears sprung to my eyes and I actually started to bawl my eyes out. I just couldn't contain myself, couldn't hold my tears back. God was breaking my heart for what is breaking His. For the hurt, for the hungry, for the orphans, for the desperate, for the poor, and for the hopeless. He is calling me to a life out of the ordinary, to a life that is not planned, not written down on paper, to a life of FAITH. Believing in Him is all I need to do. I don't want to be like all of the other coconuts on the tree. I am going to be different.
I keep getting asked…..What are you going to do when you come back? Will you have a job lined up? Where are you going to live? Don't you have a plan?!?!
My answer to this is….No….No, I don't have a plan.
God is my plan, and He has my plan.
I am going to trust in Him, I am going to lean on Him, and I am going to believe that He will take care of my every need.
“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Matthew 6:26
I am leaning on my Heavenly Father to provide for me, I am trusting in Him to take care of me, I am believing that He will guide me exactly where He wants me to go.
So now I leave you with the video that broke my heart, and stirs me to tears every single time I watch it.
