I had a really rough week, the pinnacle of it coming on Friday…..which just seemed like to worst day EVER!!!! My day started off bad and ended with me showing up at my youth night in tears. Sometimes things are put in front of you that seem like mountains, and no matter how you look at that mountain there just seems to be no way over or around it. As I prepare to embark on this journey that is the World Race, it seems that everwhere I turn there are obstacles that keep getting in my way and stifling my progress. From my car hobbling to get through each and everyday, to work issues, debt, and a sudden lawsuit that came out of nowhere. Apart, all of these obstacles seem like issues that need to be dealt with, but thrown together they are just a little overwhelming!!!

These are the times that God wants us to “Be still, and know that I am God" (Ps 46:10)

Where He says to us,"Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!" (Ps 27:14)

Where he proclaims, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

He wants us to take these times when we struggle, these times when we strain, and give them to Him. To turn all of our worries and all of our apprehensions over to Him. And then……………………………………………………………………. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….wait.

He will come through….

Maybe not right away….

Maybe not when we want Him to…..

But He will come through…….in His own perfect timing, and when He is ready to show Himself. All we have to do is trust and believe that He is working the situation out for us in the most absolute best way possible.

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Because every obstacle we go through, big or small, is an opportunity for Him to show us how big He is and how much He loves us, wants the best for us, and wants us to trust Him with everything. Because even when we cannot see a way around or over the mountain, He has already made a way for us right through the center of it.
