I don’t even know where to begin! Well my name is Kylie Loree Norman and I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in Lake Mary, FL (basically Orlando), went away to college, and four years later I’m now back home in Lake Mary!

I was born into a Christian family with incredibly loving and supportive parents. I have 2 brothers, Ryan
and Dustin, and a sister-in-law Susan. I have been going to the same small church since I was about 2 years old and have been blessed in being a part of this unique and intimate church body.

I’ve always known Jesus and knew I wanted to know more, but never fell head over heels in love with him until my high school senior year when I went to a Young Life camp in North Carolina. At this camp I stood in awe as I met my Creator, Father, Redeemer, and Savior on a new and intimate level.

After God rocked my world at this camp I started my college career at the University of Florida. Here the Lord blessed me with the opportunity to be a Young Life leader, and for the next four years I got to know and love some of the greatest middle school girls ever. While in college I was also blessed enough to live in a community with 7 roommates. In this beautiful, four bedroom, run-down home that we call 418, myself and 7 other Young Life leaders got to live together, minister together, and grow to love each other and God more every day.

Over the past 2 years I’ve had the opportunity to go to South Africa, Costa Rica, and Haiti twice to serve the Lord and His people. These trips have blessed me, broken me, and changed me. God has given me a heart and a passion for the lost, hurting, and oppressed of this world, but He’s also been showing me that it’s not enough to want to be His hands and feet, but in doing so I have to make Him the head and go where He leads. So that’s where I’m at, taking life one step at a time and trying my best to serve Him wherever He takes me.
